A Visit to Cabramatta

March 2, 2017: Cabramatta Market

It was a beautiful and sunny day. As request by the oldies they wanted to try the fruits and seafood Australia has to offer. Our hosts (Uncle Emy and Auntie Sol) took us to Cabramatta Market to experience it. It was a little bit far from where we were staying but it was worth the trip. Cabramatta market is mostly Vietnamese of culture and origin.

Lobsters, King Crabs and Prawns are everywhere

Different kinds of shell food

You can find Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Small electronic stuff, clothing and several food stalls/restaurants. Vietnamese Groceries are everywhere. Actually it's not really a culture shock for me anymore experiencing wet and dry markets since there are tons here in the Philippines. I got surprised of the sizes of the fruits and the variety of seafood they offer. It was really something else, some are our of this world. It's not as touristy as the Sydney Fish Market so prices, I believe, is lower.

Restaurants inside the Market and around it

You can't go all around in one day since there are several buildings of different stores. You just need to go to what you really want. I hope you enjoy the video I did on our day in Cabramatta.
